Our Coding Journey: Tynker and Python

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

5th grade students in our school have been engaged in coding challenges throughout the year.  They started with basic block coding using Tynker. After finishing those lessons, we moved them into coding using Python to create a game for their kindergarten buddy.  We would like to share our story, resources we have used, and give time for participants to ask questions and try coding (Tynker and Python).  We hope you leave feeling confident that you can learn to code along with your students.
