Geometry Infused with Computer Science and Computational Thinking

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Morph your classroom from a place of solely learning standards into a collaborative environment where students are thinking critically and problem solving. Students are curious, excited, engaged, and experiencing the material by embedding computer science (Scratch) and computational thinking concepts. This session demonstrates strategies for shifting to a competitive, gamified, inquiry-based, classroom and puts the fun back in education.  I will speak primarily about my Geometry class but a lot of the tips can be used in any classroom.
